Reception have enjoyed the challenge of making a bridge from any material of their choice. The bridge has to be tall enough to so that a boat 20cm tall can sail underneath. There has been some fantastic team work, listening, cooperation and responding to each other’s ideas. Children have been measuring their bridge, adapting their work and being resilient in the process. Tomorrow we continue adapting and modifying our work.

As the children were dressed up in red, white and blue for the day to celebrate our International day for Elham who is leaving the school to go back to Paris. The children enjoyed using Google Earth to visit the Eifel Tower and to ask Elham questions about France.

We then sang Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes in French and played a blind guessing game outdoors in which the children had to touch the part of the body which Miss Elham called out.
