Today was World Maths Day and so we held a big maths event! Thank you to all the parents and children who came and got involved in all of our activities and to all of the volunteers and helpers, who helped the day run very smoothly. The day has been a great success and has shown that Maths isn’t as scary as it first seems!
Reception and KS1 were in control during the morning session, completing 10 challenges to earn jigsaw pieces. Each team then completed the jigsaw to make a star shape and produce their own certificate.
KS2 were in charge during the afternoon session and really had to switch their maths brains on the complete some the challenges. Some children even beat some World Records!
