To mark the European Day of Languages this year we held a ‘French Day’ on Friday 24^th September. Children were allowed to come to school in non-uniform, wearing red, white and blue to represent the colours of the French flag. The day  included activities with a French theme and the children were given the opportunity to taste croissants on the day.

On the day our school dinner hall was transformed into a French style cafe and the menu was translated in to French.  We had :
