This year, children in KS2 took part in the second Tyne Together - 7 Billion Ideas Project. Children worked in small groups to develop a world changing invention. They then had to make a prototype and present this to their class. Each class selected a winner and each class winner presented their idea to the whole school.
Year 5’s team ‘The Underwater Protection’ were selected as the school winner and took place in the finals day alongside 25 other schools.
They were recognised for their great stall and won an award in this category.
