Macmillan Coffee Afternoon
This year we had a cake stall visiting the children's classrooms, where the children had lots to choose from thanks to the generous donations made. Parents held a coffee afternoon which again had a wide range of delicious cakes. We would like to say a big thank you for all the kind donations and support from all parents and carers for this event, we could not have done it without you! Together we raised a lot of money which is all for this excellent cause.

Macmillan Charity Event
Just to remind you that we are holding two activities on Tuesday 1st October to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.
There will be a coffee afternoon for parents and friends from 2-3pm in the main hall whilst our Year 5 and 6 children will be selling cakes (50p each) to every class of children.
If you would like to donate any cakes we would be very grateful as this will help us to try and beat last year’s total. All cake donations need to be sent in to school on Monday 30th September please. Read More »
Last year we raised a lot of money for Macmillan Cancer Support and this year we are hoping to do the same. We are asking for your help and support with our Macmillan activities this year.

A big thank you to all families who have sent their children to school in the correct uniform according to our new policy—they look so smart and ready to learn.
Those who have missed some parts of the policy regarding wearing shoes, not trainers, and knee-length dresses, skirts and shorts have been given until Monday to ensure they have the correct uniform on as the week-end is often the only time parents will have to shop. (A small number of children have also come with very short shaved hair but this seems to be from asking for a ‘short, back and sides’
All About Me!
Welcome to year 1 and 2! I hope you have all had a lovely summer and are ready to work hard this year.
Our topic this half term is ‘All About Me’. For this we will be looking at ourselves and our families.
It is important that your child has both indoor and outdoor P.E kits in school at all times. We advise that children leave the P.E kits in school and take them home at the end of every half term.
Year 1 will visit the library on
Year 2 enjoyed a super tour around NUFC Stadium for our excellent efforts in this year's Golden Shot event. We even went into the changing rooms! Take a look at our photographs below.[gallery order="DESC" columns="2" orderby="rand"]Read More »
Children in Key Stage 1 had a fantastic time learning about how people live in Spain, Germany, France and Italy! We have created art work to display including flamenco dolls, the Brandenburg Gate, paper plate pizzas and lots more! We learnt phrases for each of the languages and made and tasted food from the different countries too. We received an email from our friends at a German school, who told us about their lives. We also enjoyed a special visit from Sabrina who told us all about her life in the Spreewald in Germany. We found the whole week very exciting and lots of fun. Take a look atRead More »

This afternoon saw the return of the Cube! Many parents and children from across school came along to take part in some fun and challenging maths activities. The events included two cubes containing a range of timed maths activities. There was also the frogs and toads challenge to get the frogs and toads to swap places by only jumping or sliding. In the Numicon area parents and children had to build a 3D pyramid using the Numicon shapes and some even succeeded! We also had a memory challenge using a number line and world record attempts at the largest number of dominoes to be stacked on a singRead More »
