Key Stage One News Welcome back!
 

Welcome back to year 1 and 2! We hope you have all had a lovely break and are ready to work hard this half term.

Here is another copy of some of our key events happening this half term. Please check them all with those you already have as we have made a few changes to some events.

13th November-Bingo Night—tickets are on sale now.

14th November-Children in Need day—children can dress up as a superhero for the day if they bring a £1   contribution to the charity. We will also be selling this year’s wristbands for £1.

20th November-Maths workshop 5 3.30-4.30pm

Windsocks!

Pumpkin Carving

Pumpkin Carving This week key stage one held a pumpkin carving competition.  This spooktacular event was fantastic! We would like to say a big thank you to all the parents and children for attending and for their brilliant efforts, the pumpkins were amazing!

Royal British Legion Visit

Royal British Legion Visit Today, Year 2 and 3 had a visit from 2 gentlemen who work for the Royal British Legion. They told us about the importance of remembering the poppy as well as all of the servicemen and women who have risked or lost their lives during war both past and present. We were all very interested in the medals, crosses and letters which were shown.

Redesdale News 13.10.2014 A busy time ahead!
As we start the last two weeks of this half term we can’t believe how quickly the time has gone. We have a few events and trips going on before the half term break but we also have parents evenings next week on Tuesday and Wednesday from 3.30pm. Appointments are available from after school on Tuesday so please see your child's teacher to make an appointment.

Thank you to everyone who has contributed to our fundraising this half term. There was an excellent response from so many schools to the North East Hearts and Goals appeal
