Our new team of Digital Leaders had a great time at the Digital Leaders Training yesterday. They worked collaboratively alongside other school children to develop their understanding of what a Being a Digital Leader will involve. It was also very fun developing coding skills using the SPRK+ sphero kit.
Year 4 have been learning how to use Scratch to create code which explains the water cycle. We have seen great team work and peer support throughout this project.
As part of Safer Internet Day we focused upon safety when sharing photos online. We then used Popplet to share some top tips for using social media and sharing photos.
Year 1 had a brilliant day programming robots and controlling machines. They instructed remote control cars and blue bots, experimented with Zounds; a interactive music device. They saw a Sphero (a remote control ball) in action and created robots using cubelets.
Y4 have been using Kahoot to complete quizzes in Topic and Science to show prior knowledge before we begin our learning journey. It's a Kahoot!
