Reception Traditional Tales Day Reception children enjoyed dressing up as their favourite character and parents / carers were invited in to take part in different activities including gingerbread men decorating, craft, puppet shows, story telling and more.

Digital ambassadors were also on hand to show parents and children the app Finger Paint with sounds and how to log into Oxford Owl to access many free online books.

Reception have been creative using a story carpet to make stories Today we have been creative making our own stories using our story carpet. We should have some amazing ideas by the end of the week to record in our story corner.

Some of the ideas have been amazing. They include a magic genie slipper granting wishes; a crystal ball which we can jump into like a time machine, take us where we need to be to rescue people; characters living in a deep dark forest or a haunted house and that is just the tip of the iceberg.

The rest of the week looks so exciting! Well done Receptiom!

Reception children enjoyed their pyjama film afternoon. All Reception children enjoyed their pyjama film afternoon. We watched the film 'Frozen' and loved singing along to the songs. Children were rewarded with hit cholocate, marshmallows and popcorn. Well done everyone, your manners were excellent!
