Parents

Growing and learning together

Welcome to the Parents’ Area of our website.

Parents are seen as partners in the life of our school.  If you are interested in being involved in volunteering, please see the Class Teacher.  If you are involved on a regular basis, you will need to apply for an enhanced DBS. (Please visit the Office for further information)

An annual Parental Survey is sent out to all parents to gather views about their child’s experiences at Redesdale Primary School; the results of these are always used to improve our provision further (see the Parent Survey page).                                  Parents can also complete an Ofsted questionnaire on Parent View. (Please click on the icon below to take you to Parent View)                                                                             parent view 2

Parent/Teacher Consultation

Parents are always welcome to meet with teachers to discuss their child’s learning.  We hold regular Parents’ Evenings to share pupil progress information and Open Mornings/Afternoons to give advice as to how parents may wish to help children to develop their learning at home.

As well as these more formal events, teachers are available to meet with parents at the beginning and end of the school day to discuss any issues or you may wish to make an appointment if you need more time to discuss any concerns.
