Growing and learning together

COMPUTING

A high quality Computing curriculum equips children to use computational thinking and creativity to understand and change the world. The core of Computing is Computer Science and at Redesdale Primary School, children will be taught the principles of information and computation, how digital systems work and how to put this knowledge to use through programming.

Our children will be equipped to use information communication technology to create programs, systems and a range of content. We will ensure that children become digitally literate, are able to use and express themselves and develop their ideas through information communication technology, at a level suitable for their academic stage, that will develop them for the future workplace and as active participants in a digital world.
