The school kitchen are providing a hot meal, packaged for each child ‘takeaway style’, for children who are attending school during the current lockdown. They are unable to offer a choice but a vegetarian option will be available each day and all diets including food allergies and intolerances will be individually catered for. The children use standard cutlery and beakers of water are provided. Children in the Reception classes eat their lunch in the Main Hall. The other classes eat their lunches in their classrooms.
Children who are in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 are entitled to a free school meal if they are in school as are children whose parents are in receipt of benefits. Children are welcome to bring a packed lunch if that is their preference.
