Thank you to everyone who supported our Sports Day on Friday 5th July 2019. The atmosphere was fantastic and the children had a great time. Congratulations to Alnwick house who won the Key Stage 2 assembly by just 20 points from Dunstanburgh House.

Den Building After School Club

Children from Year 1 and 2 have been busy exploring how to make an outdoor den in our after school Enrichment club. Working in groups of 5, the children are set a challenge to make a den in which they could shelter and keep dry. We have seen some excellent team work and great ideas. Well done!

Year 5 Trail Challenge

Year 5 enjoyed a morning of orienteering around the Rising Sun Country Park. The event was organised by the North Tyneside PE Team and was a lot of fun.

This half term, Year 5 are learning how to play rounders. They have been developing their throwing and catching skills and learning techniques for batting.
After School Enrichment Clubs For Summer 1 Term

Enrichment enrolment forms for Summer 1 term were emailed to all parents and carers on Friday 29th March. Paper copies are available from the school office. Enrolment starts on Monday 1st April and closes on Friday 5th April.
North Tyneside Skipping Festival

Year 4 have been training very hard in preparation for the North Tyneside Skipping Festival. They were extremely successful at the event and won! They will now join 5 other winning schools in the finals.
