As a school we are totally committed to keeping your children safe and to following government guidance. We have worked tirelessly to ensure all our risk assessments, health and safety procedures and social distancing measures are in place and to ensure Redesdale Primary School is as safe a place as is possible for our children, staff, parents and visitors. We are committed to giving the children the best learning experiences we can deliver and to make things as ‘normal’ as we can safely manage. We look forward to welcoming all of our children back in September 2020.

Travelling to School - September 2020
We want to help children stay safe when they return to school this September. Because social distancing guidance is still in place, it is vital that we manage the space around our school gates. This is difficult to do if cars are parked or waiting near our school.

We will be closed on Friday 8th May 2020 for the VE Day Bank Holiday.
There are some activities everyone can still take part in at home, making bunting or flags, listening to songs and music from that era and finding out about VE day. The Royal British Legion is also calling on everyone across the UK to join in a moment of reflection and remembrance at 11:00am on Friday 8th May, the 75th Anniversary of VE Day, and to pause for a two minute silence. We hope you can join in with the celebrations and remembrance at home in any way you can safely. Take care and keep safe.
