Lower Key Stage Two
Year 3 have worked hard creating world changing ideas. We came up with some ideas and made a prototype. We then presented our ideas to the class and one was a clear favourite. It will remain a secret until we present it to our Headteacher!
Lower Key Stage Two
Year 4 have been working hard over the last few weeks to develop their products as part of 7 Billion Ideas. Today they worked fantastic in their teams and showed great resilience and determination when solving problems
Upper Key Stage Two
Y5 used Kahoot to test their knowledge of staying safe online (they were very competitive and accurate in their answers!!) before creating a Popplet to discuss the pros and cons of their favourite online activities.
Key Stage One
Year 1 had a brilliant day programming robots and controlling machines. They instructed remote control cars and blue bots, experimented with Zounds; a interactive music device. They saw a Sphero (a remote control ball) in action and created robots using cubelets.

Year 5 visited Jarrow Hall on Thursday 8th December to discover what life was like during the Anglo-Saxon period.

Year 4 had a busy day today. They made a music video using an app called 'Doink'. We then made Kenyan sweet rice which tastes lovely. Finally we made Kenyan jewellery. We are all ready for the open afternoon and can't wait to showcase our work.

We had lots of fun decorating eggs yesterday.

Last week Year 2 investigated the Wright brothers as part of STEAM week. We all had a fantastic week and had lots of fun.
