Year 1 have been exploring moving across and through large apparatus. They have worked on starting and finishing positions and different ways of moving.
We’ve had lots of fun at the disco tonight. We love the candy floss!
Year 1 have continuing their learning sharing ideas on how to stay safe when using the internet. We have been learning about pop ups, fake news and if we see something which is not right to talk to an adult.
Year 2 made some Great Fire Of London cakes, they were delicious!
Year 3 have been doing lots of work on division in math. They have used tennis balls, cubes and counters as manipulatives to investigate how question sentences can vary.
Enrolment for Spring 2 Term After School Enrichment Clubs starts on Monday 14th February and closes on Friday 14th February 2020. All parents and carers were emailed the form on Friday 7th February 2020.
Year 1 have had great fun investigating which material is the most absorbent, to help our penguin mop up his puddle!
Year 6 Eco-Engineers really enjoyed the practical workshops during our visit to Nissan. After testing the wind turbine models we had made at school, we experimented with wind-powered vehicles to investigate the optimum ratio of power to distance. In the afternoon session, we tested electrically-powered model cars to calculate the energy needed to drive the vehicle in a controlled, forward direction. This was followed by a short, but exciting, journey in the latest model of the Nissan Leaf eco-friendly car.
